The Children’s Museum, Missoula offers fun, interactive learning
opportunities that allow children to explore their interests and abilities
through play. The Museum is a destination for area families, a place where
kids can be kids and grownups can network with other parents and caregivers
and feel like part of a community – a community of kids and grownups
coming together for positive learning experiences, developmental growth
and quality family time.

From East or Westbound Interstate 90
Take the Orange Street exit. Stay on Orange Street and take a left on
Front Street before the bridge. The museum is two blocks down on the right.
Street and lot parking are available.
From Southbound Highway 93
Take the exit for I-90 Eastbound. Follow above directions from there.
From Northbound Highway 93
Follow 93 into Missoula, it will turn into Brooks Street. Turn left on
Stephens Avenue and continue across the bridge. Take the first turn right
onto Front Street. The museum is two blocks down on the right.
Parking “Survival Tips”
In addition to metered street parking there are 2 pre-pay parking lots
and Central Park parking garage within 2 blocks of the Museum. To access
the Caras Park pre-pay lot from Higgins head west on Front Street, at
the end of the block take a right down the hill to Caras Park and the
Carousel and follow the signs from there. To access the Bank Street pre-pay
lot from Higgins head east on Front Street, take a left on Pattee, take
the first right into the driveway for the parking lot. To access the Central
Park parking garage from Higgins head west on Main Street and follow signs
into garage.

The Play Store at the Children’s Museum is a great place to find
fun, educational and unique items for kids of all ages. Great gift ideas!
Jewelry making kits, face paints, finger puppets, brain-teaser puzzles,
the list goes on. Much of our merchandise reflects the Museum’s
popular exhibits. The newest additions to the Museum Store include T-shirts,
sweatshirts and hats with the new Children’s Museum logo. Support
the Museum when you shop at The Play Store. Museum members receive discounts
on all store purchases.
